Train Your Pet in 10-15 Minutes A Day

The truth is, dog training is easy! With a puppy, it’s even easier. Why? Because puppies are like sponges – they love to learn, they love to interact with you, and if you start early enough they haven’t yet learned bad habits! If you use the positive reinforcement methodology, commit to your teaching, and be consistent with the process, your puppy can learn in 10-15 minutes per day! Do you have 5 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes in the evening to devote to training, or 5 minutes three times each day? That’s all the time commitment required to teach your puppy! Puppies learn better in shorter sessions than in one long session. Shorter and more frequent sessions gives your puppy the opportunity to assimilate what you’re teaching, and it gives you the opportunity to finesse your training. You can teach your puppy more and more quickly if you “catch her doing something right”, meaning when she’s doing what-comes-naturally, tell her so with reinforcement such as praise, food, toy or playtime!

There’s so much to do with your puppy as she matures. Once she’s learned the basic good manners, look at all the other activities you can do with her!
